The content of Justice Thomas' character is not that great.

These are addresses of his opinions about Citizens United (2010) and gay marriage (2015):

My phone seems to be permanently disabled from publishing pictures at this blog, which is a time-consuming obstacle to my writing.

Contrary to what Justice Thomas wrote in his 2010 Citizens United decision, he seems to be entirely capable of endorsing "a view of the First Amendment that subjects citizens of this Nation to death threats, ruined careers, damaged or defaced property and threatening warning letters as the price for engaging in 'core political speech, the primary object of First Amendment protection,'" if the people being abused don't agree with him.

Sentence 1 of Paragraph 9 of his Citizens United opinion, while it perhaps can't be called a lie since he wrote that his point was "not to express any view on the merits of the political controversies" of the example that he used, was nonetheless belied, in vehement detail, by his 2015 dissenting opinion about the Supreme Court's majority ruling to legalize gay marriage.

Sentence 2 of Paragraph 9 of his Citizens United opinion, in which he praised his use of what he called a "real-world" example, was perhaps not what he was thinking of 5 years later, when his dissenting opinion about gay marriage shockingly refuted the truth of the real-world dangers of discrimination against gay people and the lack of governmental protection of their rights.  He wasn't defining the right to freedom as being only the right to physical freedom when he was being appointed to the U.S. Supreme Court in 1991.  Every sentence of his 2015 opinion is painful to read.

I don't want to hear another word about my being a racist who objected to President Obama's behavior because he is, to all outward appearances, a black man.  I am not racist; he is sexist.

It ought to be clear to everyone that, in the United States, members of minorities who are both privately and publicly bigoted toward more oppressed minorities, or who are happy to promote stereotypes that don't obstruct their ambitions, have a material advantage over principled members of their own minorities or stereotyped groups.
