Fair and equal treatment is everyone's right.

The President is neither above nor below the law.

Lawyers should stop refusing to represent President Trump.  We aren't the Vindictive States of America; we are the United States of America, a democracy, and we need to act like it.




That's the address for a 2016 New Yorker article called "The Assad Files."  I haven't read most of it; it's too sad for me to read.  Maintaining my personal equilibrium in the midst of my trauma is demanding, and I have to make decisions every day about what I can allow myself to read and to think about.  

Part of the article describes Bill Wiley's respect for the law; that is how everyone needs to think.  President Trump is not Saddam Hussein.  

A potentially destabilizing percentage of the media has craved Presidential Carcass since the 1970s.  That percentage of the media doesn't want to discuss or negotiate; it doesn't even want to argue or inform.  That percentage wants to control government and politics.
