It was only when Northern white people started being killed to stop the South from seceding that "everyone" in the North had a problem with slavery.

This picture was a joke about me, wasn't it?

I don't tend to think that I'm particularly educated, and it is upsetting that being relentlessly targeted for harassment and other abuse has prevented me from being able to obtain advanced degrees and start a professional life. However, my perhaps uneducated opinion about the Councilor's remarks is that I think that the U.S. and Chinese governments are understanding each other.
