Please recover.

What the specifics of that process will be, I don't know and can't set forth.

I am not sure why there people who are so enraged about your statement.  You are not accusing anyone of lying.  You are not making vicious, deceitful counter-accusations, attempting to discredit allegations against you.  You are not angrily defending your reputation.  You are not suing or threatening anyone.  It seems to me to be as empathetic and truthful a statement as you feel you can publish at this time.

I also don't think that anyone has the right to tell someone when or how he or she ought to announce a sexual orientation.  I have never heard of anyone responding to an allegation of heterosexual misconduct by trying to address the allegation and the effect of the alleged misconduct on the victim and then saying "I'm also heterosexual, in case anyone was wondering."  There is no stigma for being heterosexual, unless it's the stigma of being a heterosexual man who also likes and respects women and who never has fantasies of raping them, or the stigma of being a heterosexual woman who knows she has the right to have an opinion.

I don't know that it is ever not courageous to announce being gay.

You have the right to an attorney.  You have the right to ask that people who feel that they have had negative experiences with you contact that attorney, with the goal of having productive discussions that lead to resolutions that both sides can live with.  The injured parties do not have to sign nondisclosure agreements, and neither do you.  There is never only one side to an issue; people have the right to say that they were wronged, and people have the right to say that they were wrong.  I don't think it's helpful for observers to be ready to dissect the apologies of people who have done nothing to prove that the apologies aren't sincere or that they are meant to inflict pain.

You do not and should not have to be at the mercy of the professional or social media.  If you have committed misconduct, regardless of whether or not it was criminal misconduct, you have rights in the process of restitution.

Not everyone succeeds in your industry by virtue of talent.  You did, and I have yet to read about an accusation in which you were really trying to hurt someone or didn't care that someone was upset; even such an accusation would need to be proven true.  This is the United States; proof is not a nonessential.

Please also try to respect what I have said about how I don't want people to talk about me.

Good luck to you and the recovery of all concerned.

This picture was a joke about me, wasn't it?

This article is one of the few Google results for "North Korea" today that doesn't immediately blame President Trump for everything; it does that later, even after paragraphs that seem to prove that the problem is China.
