I wish that there didn't have to be additional injuries and deaths, even for people who are fighting to help Mr. Assad maintain power that he has proven he doesn't deserve.

I wish that he would resign.  

If he never uses another chemical weapon, he'll think of other ways to be a tyrant.

If he were to spend the rest of his life being a good person, it would not balance the atrocities that he has already inflicted.  

He has destroyed his own country.  What has happened in Syria is genocide.

Children In Immigrant Detention Facilities Indignant About The Idea That They Lack The Mental Capacity To Appreciate The Onion's Satire About Their Situation
