For the entertainment industry, sexual harassment and sexual assault are normal.  

The industry is a freakshow and doesn't know it.  

It's not "kinda, sorta" a freakshow.  The problem isn't perpetuated by one person or a few people.  Sexual harassment and sexual assault don't happen "once in a while."  THE ENTIRE INDUSTRY IS A FREAKSHOW.

This picture was a joke about me, wasn't it?

I don't tend to think that I'm particularly educated, and it is upsetting that being relentlessly targeted for harassment and other abuse has prevented me from being able to obtain advanced degrees and start a professional life. However, my perhaps uneducated opinion about the Councilor's remarks is that I think that the U.S. and Chinese governments are understanding each other.
