You are not accusing anyone of lying. You are not making vicious, deceitful counter-accusations, attempting to discredit allegations against you. You are not angrily defending your reputation. You are not suing or threatening anyone. It seems to me to be as empathetic and truthful a statement as you feel you can publish at this time. I also don't think that anyone has the right to tell someone when or how he or she ought to announce a sexual orientation. I have never heard of anyone responding to an allegation of heterosexual misconduct by trying to address the allegation and the effect of the alleged misconduct on the victim and then saying "I'm also heterosexual, in case anyone was wondering." There is no stigma for being heterosexual, unless it's the stigm...
